Still reeling from Charley's departure, the shop embarks on a new project: a
'63 Corvette. But what sounds like a dream build quickly turns into a
nightmare when the owner requests that the car be made into a racer, show
car and street rod all in one. The shop gears up to build the
1,500-horsepower 'Vette, but Mike and the guys quickly lose interest in the
difficult project. With Duane pulling double duty to fill in for Charley in
the body shop, Scott is put in charge of this project – and the search for

real challenge will be to complete the transformation in a record seven
weeks. But just as work gets underway, a feud erupts between Bluebear and a
shop newcomer that soon turns into an all-out war. With shop morale
plummeting, Boyd and Duane decide to diffuse the situation by firing one of

Corvette: Rebuilding an Icon
Follow Chief Corvette Engineer Dave Hill – just the
third engineer to oversee production of the Corvette – as he tweaks and
tunes his latest design in the months leading up to the vehicle's debut.
While fans expect the same classic Corvette style, he knows the car needs
significant changes to bring it up to date for a new generation of drivers.
The challenge is to perfect the car in real world conditions – without
letting anyone from the real world get a sneak peek before it's ready. So
while Dave and his crew tear through hairpin turns on Germany's Autobahn
speedway, they keep a watchful eye on the rearview mirror for signs of Jim
Dunne, the infamous spy photographer who's yanked the shroud of secrecy off
more than a few pre-release vehicles. Jim has made it his mission to capture
the first shot of a C6 before anyone else. With the media and fans desperate
for a glimpse of the new model, Jim is just waiting for Team Corvette to
slip up in order to capture his biggest prize yet.

Monster Garage: Demolition-Derby
Car
While Jesse recovers from a shoulder operation
prompted by a nasty motorcycle accident, the garage is taken over by the
first all-female build team. Watch as this group of matriarchal mechanics,
womanly welders and feline fabricators turn a vintage '65 Cadillac into the
meanest mangle machine ever – a demolition derby car. First, the girls get
to work on the essentials – augmented roll cage, reinforced battery
compartment, steel-girded bumpers and side panels. Then, they put the
finishing touch on this dainty demolisher – hidden spikes that pop out of
the headlights and sides of the car to eviscerate their opponents! |

Monster Garage: Doughnut
Shop/Cop Car
Jesse swears in a team of police officers for his most
delicious project yet – a mobile doughnut shop. But, before the world's
greatest outlaw artisan can throw the cookbook at 'em, the crew has to
figure out how to wedge a working coffeemaker and a complete pastry display
case into a standard issue police cruiser. Food technologist Alan Dively is
brought in to get the shop-on-wheels up to code, while a group of Long Beach
boys in blue – officers and jellymen – make sure the whole build goes by the
book. It's a classic game of good cop/hungry cop as Jesse and crew try to
have their cake...and eat it, too. |

Monster Garage DVD Set
In Switchblade, Jesse and his team are challenged to turn a 1990 Mustang GT
convertible into a fiber-slashing, awe-inspiring mower. At the end of their
week long effort, the car appears to be an ordinary street vehicle, but when
Mr. James pulls back on the giant shifter, a 49" Delta cutting deck slides
from the trunk, two 20" mower reels drop from the doors, and a 12" scythe
emerges from underneath the hood. A run-of-the-mill "stang" morphs into a
fearsome, 0-to-60 in five seconds, kinetic switchblade! |

Monster Garage: Figure 8 Race Car
In his never-ending quest to turn the mundane into the monstrous, Jesse sets
out to take a vintage El Camino Super Sport and create a hard-chargin',
competition-ready Figure 8 race car. Dubbed the Figure 9, ("Hey, that's one
better than a Figure 8!") Jesse's latest creation – with it's long El Camino
body – should prove an interesting player on the crisscrossing track of
Irwindale's Figure 8 speedway – that is, if the WCC gang can get this
unsightly beast into game shape. The crew works feverishly to reinforce the
Camino's body in preparation for the near misses, and hits, of Figure 8
racing. Will it be enough to keep Jesse in the driver's seat? |

Monster Garage: Low Bull-Rider
Jesse rustles up a posse of cowboys and homeboys for his latest creation.
Their challenge – turn a 1970 Ford Ranchero (the legendary
car-with-a-truck-bed) into a rip-snortin', mechanical bull. By installing an
extraordinary hydraulic system, the team makes the entire car jerk and jump
like a crazed steer. But no bull is complete without a rider – and no
modification is complete without the proper showcase. Watch as the crew
enters this lowridin', high-buckin' bull – with a bona fide, professional
bull rider – into the Yucca Valley Grubstake Days Rodeo and see the entire
town go wild! |

Monster Garage: Mercedes/Handicap Car
This time, Jesse and the team are tasked with transforming a Mercedes ML320
SUV into the ultimate handicap-accessible vehicle. The goal: Create a
remote-operated rear hatch – complete with a drop-down ramp – that opens up
at the push of a button, allowing anyone in a wheelchair to roll right in.
Actually getting the chair to fit inside the vehicle proves to be a problem,
however. So, Mercedes-Benz Technical Trainer Stuart Klein stops by to help
the team lower the floor and redesign the rear suspension to accommodate the
modifications. Then, it's up to Jesse to trick out this sport-ute – a custom
exhaust, a little nitrous and this bad Benz is ready to go. |

challenge, they'll need to build a racer that can climb the 14,000-foot peak

switchbacks. |

Monster Garage: Rock Crawler
The show's viewers issue a unique challenge to Jesse and his crew: create
the meanest, gnarliest rock climber ever built – out of an ordinary Ford
Bronco. The team hacks and slashes the SUV at a brisk pace, but a
disagreement over how to handle the car's robust suspension proves costly.
This is one Bronco that may never make it out of the stable.

dual-purpose vessel – a shark hunting, party boat! Watch as the pontoon is
gutted to make room for a snug, one-person shark cage. While revelers party

shark cage for an up-close and personal look at a whole different kind of
monster. |

Monster Garage: Sling Ray
Jesse and crew set out to turn a red-blooded, American muscle car into a
down-and-dirty, world-class mud bogger. First, they find the quintessential
hot rod – a 1973 Corvette Sting Ray with a thumping 454 Chevy big block.
Then they track down a man who has a little experience getting his hands
dirty – reigning Class V National Mud Racing champ and free-lance
fabricator, Chuck Courty, Jr. But before Jesse can go whole hog in his new
mud-slinging machine, a few modifications are in order – Herculean tires, a
four-wheel drive system and some high-blowing nitrous that pushes the little
vette's horsepower to a whopping 615! |

Monster Garage: Tundrinator
In the Terminator movies, machines bash their human masters. In this episode
of Monster Garage, however, it's the humans who bash on the machines. Jesse
and crew are challenged to build the ultimate stunt vehicle – a pickup that
can conceal and launch a stunt motorcycle and rider. The truck – a pristine
Toyota Tundra, just like the one in T3: Rise of the Machines. The bike – a
full-sized Triumph Commodore. But when the bike turns out to be larger than
the boys first thought, Jesse and his team of world-class cutters realize
they'll have to make a few modifications – otherwise, this project's headed
for termination. |
